Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SeeShelf, including free features, beta features, and any future paid subscription plans.
These Terms of Service are provided by SeeShelf ("SeeShelf", "we", "us", or "our").
Effective date: March 26, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SeeShelf, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Account Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the service, attempt to access data without permission, interfere with platform operations, upload malicious content, automate abusive requests, scrape protected data, or impersonate another person or entity.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit, including collection entries, images, notes, and profile content. By submitting content, you grant SeeShelf a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service and respect the visibility settings you choose.
Catalog and Imported Metadata
SeeShelf may display metadata imported from third-party catalog sources such as TMDB and Discogs. We do not guarantee that imported metadata will always be complete, accurate, or available.
Paid Plans and Billing
If paid subscriptions are enabled, billing terms, renewal terms, taxes, and refund rules may also be governed by the applicable checkout and payment provider. Subscription access may be limited, canceled, or changed if payment fails, a refund is issued, or billing is reversed.
Beta Features
Some features may still be labeled beta. Beta features may change, break, or be removed without notice while the service continues to evolve.
Service Availability
SeeShelf is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, permanent storage, or error-free operation.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, create risk for other users, or create legal or operational problems for the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeeShelf and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising from use of the service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
