We may collect your account details, including your email address, username, profile information, authentication provider details, collection data, privacy preferences, follows, notifications, support requests, and billing-related account status when paid plans are enabled.
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the service, authenticate users, display collection content based on your visibility settings, support follows and notifications, improve product quality, respond to support requests, and manage subscriptions or reward-based access.
Public and Private Content
Some content in SeeShelf is meant to be public only if you choose to make it visible. Profiles, collections, and collection activity may be visible based on your privacy settings. Content marked private, follower-only, or only-me is intended to remain restricted according to those settings.
Third-Party Services
SeeShelf uses third-party providers such as Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, TMDB and Discogs for metadata imports, and payment providers such as Paddle when paid billing is enabled.
Cookies and Session Data
We use cookies or similar session mechanisms to keep you signed in, protect your account session, and maintain core application behavior. Some analytics, auth, and billing integrations may also rely on technical cookies or tokens.
Data Retention
We retain account and collection data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our terms. We may remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
Your Choices
You can update profile details, privacy settings, collection visibility, and certain account preferences inside the app. If you need account deletion or personal data removal help, contact support.

SeeShelf is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
